As you may have already noticed, each month I compile a list of articles and books I have read about AI and education. My hope is that by sharing my reading list this will engage others in greater learning and conversation about this fast-changing topic.
I also added an AI-generated summary from my list for the month . The most significant change I see taking place is the move from chatbots to AI agents — autonomous AI that automatically carries out tasks based on the settings and instructions given to it. This is likely the next wave of AI set to impact education. During February, we already had an experimental agent developed where students could connect the agent to their Canvas learning system and “complete all their homework” for them automatically. While the initial service was shut down after a few days, clearly there are many more experiments like this to come.
