As I have in previous months, I have also asked AI to compose a summary of the key themes from my reading this month. Here is that summary:

• AI is rapidly shifting from chatbot to autonomous agent. AI increasingly acts, creates, and makes decisions on people’s behalf—not merely responding to prompts.
• Education needs fundamental redesign, not simply more AI tools. Schools must reconsider learning goals, assessments, teaching roles, and institutional structures rather than adding AI to existing practices.
• Human learning and formation must remain central. The important question is how students become thoughtful scholars—not merely task-completers—and how AI can support rather than replace intellectual effort, judgment, and growth.
• AI adoption is fundamentally a human and ethical challenge. The readings emphasize dignity, responsibility, compassion, equitable access, healthy human relationships, and support for educators experiencing uncertainty and exhaustion.
