A few weeks ago we found out that one of my Lights Academy students, Yosheb, was accepted to Stanford as a freshman last year. I am very proud of him and his growth during his time in high school. I am excited to see what God has in store for him for the future.
Here is a post from our school blog about Yosheb and his accomplishments:
LuHi Senior Yosheb Getachew Headed to Stanford University
Here are links to his significant Lights Academy projects, including Neurobiology: A Short Synopsis of an Intriguing Subject, Technology: Curse or Cure?, Innovating Sports Refereeing, Clean Dream (renewable energy research), and Perfect College Applicant. As you can see, Yosheb has a wide variety of interests.
Congratulations Yosheb, and God’s blessings!
